How to obtain Service?

In many cases, majority of the problem you are experiencing may be resolved by reviewing Troubleshooting section under Manuals/Downloads, FAQ or the instruction booklet that came with the unit.

Where can I buy hitt products?
Hitt does not sell directly to the general public at this time. We sell to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. You may also visit one of your favorite search engines on the web and type in the model number (e.g. HE-BT380) for listing of online vendors that may carry our products.
 
Can I bring my product to your office and pick it up?
No. hitt does not have a storefront or reception area for consumers. All products are delivered to our warehouse and shipped (via UPS or USPS) from our warehouse. It is not possible for us to make a quick, immediate exchange for walk in customers. Our process for getting an item from the warehouse takes time and requires authorizations.
 
I don't have a sales receipt; can I obtain warranty service anyway?
No. A proof of purchase is required to validate the Warranty and to obtain Warranty Service.

Where can I find warranty information on my product?

Where can I get a new installation CD or download a driver?
We have installation CDs and drivers available on Manuals and Downloads page on this Support Section.
 
How do I create a MP3 file?
You need to encode (convert) your audio, WAV or WMA files to MP3 files. To do this you will need encoding software and a CD ripper or a software program.
 
How do I transfer my MP3 files into the player?
Connect the player to your computer with the USB cable and then Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop your MP3 files from your source folder, into the MP3 player (removable drive). You cannot directly drop a MP3 file from a website to the player. The files need to be saved on your computer first.
 
Where do I obtain MP3 files?
MP3 files can be obtained from many websites. Some websites charge for their services. Usually a search for "free MP3" will provide many alternatives.
 
Why does my player read "no files" after transfer?
If you get a "no file" notification from the MP3 player, make sure that all the files you are transferring have MP3 extensions. Mixed files or incorrect files will not transfer properly.
 
How do I upgrade the firmware on my MP3 player?
The process varies by the MP3 player model you have, please follow instructions in the user manual.
